Isn't this thing ment to manage mods and make modding easier. The safest way to do this is as follows: In the Mods section, click on one of your files and press Ctrl + A to select all mods. This will clear out the install path of all files Vortex has installed.

Some things were made more simple and others just don't work right or are difficult to get to work right. If you want to stop using Vortex entirely, you may also want to remove all mods installed by Vortex. I am regreting not using Mod Orginizer at this point. Vortex is seeming like a huge pain in the booty. What I did was accidently installed a patch for a mod I don't use.

I didn't get any errors about uninstalling outside of vortex. Originally posted by Silent Protagonist:from what i know of it (still learning some parts) is you have to remove the mod via vortex and if its multiple plugins and one mod runs them all then when you remove it one or all of them are removed but the method you did would cause vortex to warn you about removing things outside of vortex (nothing more) but the plug in will still be there so as far as i can tell you ♥♥♥♥ outta luck sorry :cyberdeck: you may have to remove the archive file in the folder that contains them but thats just a guess nothing more nothing less I did try uninstalling the mod and re-installing but it didn't work.
